The 2024 Sundance Film Festival

One of the perks of being a professional storyteller is that going to the movies is part of the job! I’ve just returned from one of my favorite places, the Sundance Film Festival. It’s mind-blowing and inspirational to see which stories are told and how they are told. When done well, the intersection of verbal and visual art is pure magic. I’m excited to be back in my home office armed with new ways to help people tell their own stories. As for the movies themselves, I was lucky enough to score tickets to Ibelin, an award winner and one of the first films bought by Netflix this year. It’s an interesting documentary, one with a happy ending and a lesson, too.
